North Devon Tourist Attractions

Mullacott Farm is lucky to be in a region with so much to do. Those active souls amongst you might like to hire a bike and cycle the Tarka Trail. Others may prefer water sports, golf, walking, fishing or riding, all of which are well catered for.

However it may be that a gentle stroll around the harbour at Lynmouth or along the cobbled roads of Appledore is more your style. Wandering down the narrow streets of Clovelly is also very popular with holiday visitors, although walking back up is not always treated with such enthusiasm. There is also a huge range of other quality attractions to choose from as well as markets, craft centres, pubs and restaurants.

Consequently, it contains collections of pictures, furniture and porcelain which have accumulated over many generations. The story of the Abbey mirrors local and national history at every turn. It has a friendly and lived-in atmosphere, so often absent in many of our nation’s historic houses, a point continually remarked upon by those who visit us.

An aging holiday resort which was at its best during the Victorian era, although now is beginning to show a new life. The Tunnels are passages hewn through the cliffs to a privately owned bathing beach. The Victorians also built up walls between rocks to make two bathing pools - One for ladies and one for gentlemen. There is a small charge to use the Tunnel.
