Wondering how you’ll fill your days during your stay at our Ilfracombe accommodation? The local area has an abundance of family friendly activities to get stuck into, just a handful of which we’ve listed below to help you plan your next holiday with us.
Bike hire and cycling on the Tarka Trail
One of the best ways to explore North Devon is by bike, thanks to the 32 mile stretch of traffic-free cycle path, the Tarka Trail. Here at Mullacott Farm we are well-equipped for keen cyclists to bring their own bike along, with plenty of storage space and an emergency cycle repair kit available. However, with a number of bike hire services in the area, you need not worry about bringing your own bike on holiday if you’d prefer not to.
Wander along the South West Coast Path
Prefer being on two feet to two wheels? The South West Coast Path is another spectacular way to see the area. You can join the path right here in Ilfracombe, and let it lead you to some of the most stunning parts of our coastline. We have space for you to clean and dry outdoor clothing and footwear in our hallway.
Surf on award-winning beaches
North Devon is loved by surfers from across the UK. While you’re holidaying with us, take to the waves on idyllic beaches like Woolacombe, Croyde, and Westward Ho!. There are a number of surf schools and hire shops if you’re a novice, or even if you’d rather not bring your board and wetsuit along.
